Ok - Its official. Wendy said she has been getting several inquiries about Honey. After all she is now a "riding" horse.
I couldn't do it- let her go that is.
My friend Sheri Lacey (breeder, trainer) told me-"Yes its hard- when you work a horse and its good. You have an emotional attachment, and its hard to let go."
I couldn't do it and told her "Yes" today. I'll keep her.
This is the best news we've had in months! Honey is so fortunate to have found you and you, her! You have such a gift with horses and have taught us so much in a very short period of time. It's been amazing watching you work Willie & Ruby & Honey. You are quite the horsewoman! And Honey has indeed won the horse lottery. The picture of her before you got her is one of hundreds (of thousands) of starving & abused horses, yet you saw in her something special. Look how much it's grown! Thank you, Denise, for the wonderful & loving heart you share!!!
